Available Dogs

If one of our available orphans tugs at your heartstrings, please fill out our Adoption Application under the “Applications” tab and you will be contacted within 48 hours.  You must be approved to adopt before you can meet our dogs.  All applications require a home visit in order to be approved.

Adoption fees vary with each dog and range from $125-$400, with $350 being the price for most. Adoptions fees are used not only to rescue and place the dog you are personally adopting, but to aid in the future rescue and rehabilitation of other deserving dogs. Adoption fees are necessary; without fees, our rescue efforts would quickly come to an end.

Zen's Story

2 year old Zen is a handful of a dog.  He has high puppy like energy and loves to play.  He’s not a fan of other 4 legged friends but loves his humans like crazy.   He is working on his leash manners as he reacts to animals he sees on walks.   He is treat and praise/affection motivated and learns quickly.  He’s a special boy we saved from a backyard where he had lived his whole life for the most part with little to no attention.  We are please to see the changes in him as he learns and grows into the dog he’s meant to be.  Small children and other pets aren’t his cup of tea.  He has an offer to undergo training and his Adoptor(s) will get help from his trainer.

Pam's Story

This sweet young girl has come so far since her amazing foster took her on.   Found in the desert and trapped by Animal Control, Pam went from feral dog who wouldn’t come out of her kennel to loving pack member after months of work.  She would do well with another friendly dog, well balanced dog.   She’s totally non reactive to cats and other critters.    She’s still pretty nervous around small humans so we suggest older teen children or a calm adult home.   Pam is a dog who will need someone with patience to get to know her and gain her trust.  Once that trust is gained she has affection and love to give her humans.

It would be great if someone would be willing to come over a few times, to get to know her and walk her.  Bonding with her before she transitions to a new home will help make it easier for her and her potential new family.
She’s a dream on a leash, she rides well and she is learning to sit, from example from my pack.

If you think you’re the right family to give this special angel a chance at a forever life full of love and all she deserves, please apply to adopt.

Marco's Story

3 yr old Marco is the ultimate playmate amd workout partner.  He will chase his kettle ball for hours until your arms are tired and feel like jelly.  He brings it right back and drops it at your feet.  This big bear of a pup doesn’t love other dogs but is also not immediately reactive while walking on a leash.  He’s an excellent walking or hiking buddy.   He is friendly to humans but also bonds quickly with his and can become protective if not guided properly.   He is kennel trained and behaved well in the car and on outings.   All it takes to make friends with Marco is a milk bone or the toss of a ball.

Xander's Story

This rising star is Xander.  He is being fostered and worked with by Leader Of The Pack K9 Training’s Antonio Diaz.   Thanks to Antonio, Xander is learning to be the best dog he can be.  He fits in with large well behaved dogs.   This big 4-5 yr old boy would love a family of his own with older children (teenage age) to play with or even a couple looking for a fur kid to call their own.   He is well behaved and does well with some guidance.  Xander is a powerful and stunning boy. Xander is very affectionate, playful and willing to learn. He is food and praise motivated and loves to play with his favorite human. He follows directions well and is crate trained. He is a loyal dog and needs to have a good relationship with everyone in the home. He gets along great with large dogs in the home but does not like meeting strange dogs. The ideal owner for Xander will work with him to create rules, boundaries and provide structure. Xander is the  epitome of a Shepherd and does need a dedicated owner with breed experience.
