Available Dogs

If one of our available orphans tugs at your heartstrings, please fill out our Adoption Application under the “Applications” tab and you will be contacted within 48 hours.  You must be approved to adopt before you can meet our dogs.  All applications require a home visit in order to be approved.

Adoption fees vary with each dog and range from $125-$400, with $350 being the price for most. Adoptions fees are used not only to rescue and place the dog you are personally adopting, but to aid in the future rescue and rehabilitation of other deserving dogs. Adoption fees are necessary; without fees, our rescue efforts would quickly come to an end.

Cowboy's Story

UPDATE!!! Cowboy is now in a foster home working on his behavior. Cowboy has some stranger danger and acts inappropriately when coming into contact with strangers. Right now Cowboy needs to go to an experienced adult only home, with a very stable and balanced dog his size.

UPDATE: Cowboy loves playing with other dogs his size. We think Cowboy would do best going to a home with another big balanced dog to play with and show Cowboy the social ropes.

Meet cutie-patootie, Cowboy. This little dumpling was turned in as a stray to the local shelter. As you can imagine, he’s pretty confused right now. We believe he is about 2 years old. We are letting him decompress for a few days, then we will start working on getting to know him. I can tell you that he is very sweet and takes treats very nicely. But stay tuned for more updates as we learn more!

Bea's Story

Sweet little 2 year old Bea is such a great little girl.  She is currently healing from an injury she got when hit by a car.  She behaves much like a young pup and loves playtime with her foster siblings.  She still is very mouthy and could jump and knock over a child so no small children for this girl.  She is being fostered by a trainer and we are learning more about her every day.  BB has great potential but she is not for the faint of heart.

Krieger's Story

We have named him Krieger, which means warrior.  He’s such an amazing boy!  This is what the difference some days out of the shelter environment does for a dog.  He was a very happy relaxed boy yesterday and last night.  He seems interested so far in the other dogs and curious about literally everything.  He is definitely a Shep who wants to be in your space no matter what you’re doing.   He seems to have some separation anxiety but everything is still new to him at the moment.   Like most sheps, once he bonds he loves you to the point of obnoxiousness.  He’s a big time kisser and quite the silly 1 yr old puppy.  He has energy for days and loves to play.  He will even bring his ball back and drop it for you.   He gets a bit whiney and anxious in the car but settles after a bit.  He whistles when he’s nervous and likes to rub up against you like a cat

Artemis's Story

2 year old Artemis isn’t quite the life of the party yet after spending a month in the desert.  She’s been a bit slow to come around but recently she has started to respond to toys in a big way and to those who care for her most. She will take some time to warm up, but also seems to brighten up around other dogs with positive energy.    This beauty is kennel trained, and does not bark at all.  She walks great on a leash now.  If she is uncomfortable she will simply retreat to her kennel, which is her safe space.   We will be continuing to work on her and help her learn to build trust again.

Jaeger's Story

Utterly gorgeous Jaeger came to us from our local shelter very thin.  He’s putting on weight and learning to be the best boy he can be.  He is a sweet cuddled who loves his belly rubs and tennis balls.  He’s very affectionate with his humans and has an open curious nature so far.  He loves to play and would love and active family as he’s only 1 year old and still high energy.  He has beautiful coloring and already has a grasp of basic obedience.  If you think Jaeger might be the boy for you, please fill out an adoption application.

Ian's Story

Big fluffy 12 month old Ian is a shy boy who was saved out of a hoarding situation.  He takes a bit to warm up but will follow you around after that.  He’s curious and interested in the world around him but inexperienced as well.  He will need a family willing to show him the ropes and what life is all about.   He’s a big fluffy bear of a dog with the softest fur you can imagine.  He allows all handling even though he’s not entirely comfortable yet.  He is currently decompressing and getting some life experience with a foster and will be ready for adoptions soon.

Karl's Story

Karl, our amazingly gorgeous white shepherd is waiting for his special family to come along and let him pour out all his love on them.  This 2 yr sweet boy is quite the handful at 80lb.  He loves to run and try to jump in his peoples arms and acts like a big playful, silly pup.   He’s going to need some owners experienced with big playful pups to take on this fun loving guy.  He has lived with children and other pups but a proper introduction is always necessary to ensure a good fit.

Marco's Story

3 year old Marco is a great big bear or a boy.  He’s got a mind of his own but yesterday he learned to sit and wait for his ball to be thrown.   He has shown himself to be friendly and social upon meeting humans so far and always eager for a round of play, usually in the form of fetch.  He has discovered a great passion for kettle balls and loves to bounce them around the yard and occupy himself.  He loves to interact with his people and is a ton of fun.  He is getting a brush up on manners so that he can be the best bit possible.  We will be dog testing him to see what kind of home he will do we’ll in.  So far he has not had any negative reactions to a dog in his space.

If you’d like to be considered to me Marco’s best friend, please put an application in.
