So what can I say about Stash? I love this dog so much! Is he perfect? Not by a long shot. But I can tell you he would be the perfect dog for an active family with a very submissive large dog or no dog at all. A family with older kids or no kids at all. And that’s only because at almost 90 lbs, he could easily knock down the little kids just being himself. Big dog experience preferred but not a deal breaker. A family who loves having only one pet because it’s easy to go places and do things with just one big dog to focus on. I took Stash out with me to run errands after we went to the vet for a nail trim and recheck his ears. (They said he was great during the nail trim, by the way.) Stash was incredible! He’s a dog you can take places and do things with. He behaved nicely in the lobby of the vet clinic. He behaved in the garden department at Lowes. He rides great in the car. I know there are lots of families out there that only have one dog. I know that because I am one of them. I love having just one dog. Stash is friendly with people. He’s super smart and responds to firm but kind corrections. He’s affectionate and athletic. You know what? Stash just might be a perfect dog. In fact I know he is. We just have to find him his perfect family.
