Meet beautiful Tahoe. Around 4 years old, Tahoe was adopted from the local kill shelter and returned the next day. The family didnt understand shepherds and shepherd behavior, and didnt know how to deal with or correct her playful mouthing, so they gave up on her. But there is something very special about this gorgeous shepherd mix. You can’t put your finger on exactly what it is, but when you meet her, you just know. She has been fine with the other dogs she’s met, and she knows some basic commands. When out walking, we came across some bunnies, who were not afraid of her, and they got pretty close to us. She of course was interested, but when told to leave it, she continued to walk along with me without pulling. The same thing happened with the rooster and some chickens we saw. Although she was easily distracted from the farm animals, cats are a different story. Tahoe needs to be in a home free of felines. She is just too interested in the kitties. Tahoe is past that puppy stage where she must be supervised and entertained 24/7 so there really is nothing bad to say about this unique shepherd mix. She has a thick build, and weighs a little over 80 lbs. If you want to be the person with the dog who turns heads everywhere you go, then get online and fill out adoption application, set aside $325 for her adoption donation, and get ready to be the envy of all your friends. Because when you change the world for a wonderful dog like Tahoe, your status in the neighborhood and in the dog world will skyrocket.
