Available Dogs

If one of our available orphans tugs at your heartstrings, please fill out our Adoption Application under the “Applications” tab and you will be contacted within 48 hours.  You must be approved to adopt before you can meet our dogs.  All applications require a home visit in order to be approved.

Adoption fees vary with each dog and range from $125-$400, with $350 being the price for most. Adoptions fees are used not only to rescue and place the dog you are personally adopting, but to aid in the future rescue and rehabilitation of other deserving dogs. Adoption fees are necessary; without fees, our rescue efforts would quickly come to an end.

Marco's Story

3 year old Marco is a great big bear or a boy.  He’s got a mind of his own but yesterday he learned to sit and wait for his ball to be thrown.   He has shown himself to be friendly and social upon meeting humans so far and always eager for a round of play, usually in the form of fetch.  He has discovered a great passion for kettle balls and loves to bounce them around the yard and occupy himself.  He loves to interact with his people and is a ton of fun.  He is getting a brush up on manners so that he can be the best bit possible.  We will be dog testing him to see what kind of home he will do we’ll in.  So far he has not had any negative reactions to a dog in his space.

If you’d like to be considered to me Marco’s best friend, please put an application in.

Bea's Story

Sweet little 2 year old Bea is such a great little girl.  She is currently healing from an injury she got when hit by a car.  She behaves much like a young pup and loves playtime with her foster siblings.  She still is very mouthy and could jump and knock over a child so no small children for this girl.  She is being fostered by a trainer and we are learning more about her every day.  BB has great potential but she is not for the faint of heart.

Big Poppa is 3 years old and hasn’t always had it easy.  He was in a fight that caused an injury to his eye that was never treated.  As a result he has to have surgery to correct it.  His surgery will be done before adoption and he will be perfect after that aside from a few little scars potentially.  This sweet boy just wants to be loved and for someone to invest in him.  He wants a family where he can be the star and be loved.  We are unsure of his friendliness to other dogs at this time but he will he tested.

Artemis's Story

2 year old Artemis isn’t quite the life of the party yet after spending a month in the desert.  She’s been a bit slow to come around but recently she has started to respond to toys in a big way and to those who care for her most. She will take some time to warm up, but also seems to brighten up around other dogs with positive energy.    This beauty is kennel trained, and does not bark at all.  She walks great on a leash now.  If she is uncomfortable she will simply retreat to her kennel, which is her safe space.   We will be continuing to work on her and help her learn to build trust again.

Xena's Story

11 month old Xena is a big puppy handful of love and energy.  She lights up a room wherever she goes and is ready to play.  She doesn’t seem that fond of having any dog friends but she seems to love all the humans she meets.  She’s still working through puppy behaviors like jumping on her humans for attention and mouthing a bit when she gets excited.   She would be overwhelming for small children but a wonderful playmate for older ones.  She has great energy for outdoor activities and will need lots of exercise to curb her puppy ways.

Ace's Story

5 year old Ace is the sweetest boy.  He knows lots of tricks to make you fall in love and fall you will when you meet Ace.  He’s got some skin issues clearing up from allergies and a poor diet but he’s doing much better and healing nicely.  He will need a limited ingredient diet and some care for his skin until it clears up.   He enjoys cats and seems selective about the dogs he wants to know.   He had lived with all ages of humans and is calm and loving.  His energy is relaxed and not too intense so he’s just right for a family addition.  He loves to cuddle with toys and his humans.
