Oso’s Story

Meet 4 year old Oso. If ever you have wanted to add a German Shepherd to your family, now is the time to do it! Oso lived with babies, toddlers, and kids under the age of 10. He also resided with a family of Chihuahuas. Even though Oso was an outside only dog, he loved his family very much. He is gentle, sweet, and very affectionate. He will keep an eye on your “herd” when they are outside and playing. He has quickly learned that being inside is where he wants to be, as he did his time being an outside dog. He has been on several field trips, and has been a perfect gentleman. He is curious about new things, and if introduced to them slowly and with patience, he is up for anything. His gentle nature, and his one floppy ear make Oso seem like an innocent child (in a furry dog outfit.)

If Oso looks like that missing piece of the family pie, don’t delay, please take a few minutes to fill out our online foster or adoption application. He may not be around for long. If you are not in a position to foster or adopt right now, please share Oso with friends and family because it only takes one person to change Oso’s world.

Remember:

Saving one dog will not change the world, but surely for that one dog the world will change forever.

Trey’s Story

Born on the 4th of July, it’s ironic and very sad that 8 year old Trey hasn’t known freedom for over a year.

When his owner had to move to the east coast for work, he put Trey and his brother into boarding, feeling confident he would be able to bring the dogs out east once he got settled. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen.

Trey is the perfect dog for someone who wants a companion. A couple of nice walks a day, and he is ready to snuggle up for some loving. He walks very nicely on leash, and frequently turns back, as if checking to make sure you’re still there. He loves attention, turning in a circle doing a little happy dance. Trey is also completely unfazed by cats.

If you would like to change the world for Trey, by giving him the loving forever home he is so eagerly waiting for, please fill out our online adoption application. If you are not in a position to adopt or foster, please share Trey with friends and family. It only takes one person to make Trey’s freedom a reality.
