18 Month Old
We don’t often take in dogs from other states because our own community of sheps needs us, but once in awhile we hear a story we can’t say no to.
CeCe was confiscated about 11 months ago in Washington state and ended up in a high kill shelter at 10 months old. The officer involved in the situation was a long time shepherd owner himself and couldn’t bear to see her life end, so he spent the next 8 months advocating to keep her alive and find a solution for her. He looked for placement in surrounding states and came up empty handed. Once we heard his plea for help, we jumped into action to make space for her and her kind hearted savior drove her straight down himself.
Friendly to humans and other dogs, she is a gem of a dog. She loves playing fetch and playing with friends. She’s quite the cuddle bug and has already captured the hearts of our volunteers.
You don’t want to miss out on this fantastic female. She’s a petite little girl, easy to handle on leash and great in the car.
