Since being altered he is much calmer and less jumpy and in your face. He's a very big boy and could be difficult to handle. He still needs a strong, confident owner to help guide him to being the best boy he can be. He's still working on leash manners and if not corrected he will pull you all over the place.

He's fantastic at fetch and will chase just about any toy but really loves jolly balls and being chased around with a toy in his mouth. He's very active and athletic and lots of fun to watch run around and play. He's very interactive and loves to he with his humans. He can he great with other dogs his size with a proper intro. He's still got a bit of dog on dog skills to learn and can be a bit dominant and use his paws so a well balanced dog to help guide him would be beneficial.

His size, strength, and tendancy to throw himself at you for a hug doesn't make him ideal for small.children or those with elderly at home. However, he would be great with older kids or with training as he is very human friendly. He loves to ride in the car and prefers to have his head between the seats watching next to you if he can't ride shot gun. He is potty trained and not destructive that we've seen so far and he does kennel well.
